Vettec Bovi Bond Hardwood Block supports and protects the hoof of the bovine animals. When applied correctly, the hoof block reduces pressure of the injured part of the hoof, so that it can heal. This is the best way to treat cattle lameness and hoof-care diseases. Vettec Bovi Bond Hardwood Block works great with Bovi-Bond Block Adhesive.

The block is made out of high quality hard wood, and remains strong until the hoof is healed. This is a great way of protecting cow’s claws, while lowering costs. Wood reacts well to bonding adhesives due to its rough surface and lasts from three-to-four weeks. The blocks eventually fall off claws naturally, eliminating the need for hoof trimmers to go back to each cow to remove them.

How to use Vettec Bovi Bond hardwood block?

1. Trim the injured claw

2. Dispense a small amount of Bovi-Bond Adhesive on the hoof block or on the healthy claw

3. Apply the block on the healthy toe

4. Allow the glue to set (30 seconds) and dry

5. Release the cattle
